TROUBLE'S TN DOG RESCUES

TROUBLE AND HIS FRIENDS ARE WORKING WITH THE SPCA OF TN TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF SPAY AND NEUTER PROGRAMS.  WE ALSO RESCUE DOGS FROM HIGH KILL SHELTERS IN TN AND BRING THEM NORTH TO THEIR FOREVER HOMES ... THE FOLLOWING HEARTWARMING STORIES ARE JUST A FEW OF OUR HAPPY ENDINGS.

Little Pearl was an abandoned pup rescued by the SPCA OF TN.  Her about to be new family had lost their Golden and were heartbroken.  A few weeks went by ... they saw a picture of Pearl and fell instantly in love ... to the point where they drove from PA to TN to pick her up!  Pearl is now happy, loved and enjoys snuggling with her new best friend ... Trouble!  A very happy ending for all!

Miracle was found in the middle of a TN highway, so petrified that he was "frozen" to the ground with his teeth literally chattering!  Thanks to Lisa Simms who picked him up and fostered him and the SPCA of TN ... Miracle - now named Namah - is living in a loving, forever home right near the ocean North of Boston, MA.

Milo, photographed by Michelle Philips of Marblehead Patch.com plays on Riverhead Beach.  He was one of a litter of 10 unwanted pups in TN; with literally no hope before we stepped in to save them all!

I just had the pleasure of meeting Jack, a new friend for Namah and Trouble -- he says "Here's Trouble" is now his favorite book -- and that he's pretty sure Namah loves the water!

Bear had never been inside until he arrived here in Marblehead, MA. -- we think the expression on his face says it all!!!

These lab mix pups were part of a litter of 10 "unwanteds" with no hope ... they are now safe and sound with exceptional, loving families right here in New England!!!

Roxie and her brother Lucky were about to be euthanized in TN when Celina from the SPCA of TN stepped in to save them.  Lucky found a great home locally and here's what Roxie's new family has to say about this little girl: " she has exceeded our expectations ... she is wonderful and beautiful ... she is gentle with the kids but also high spirited for playtime.  She is great with people, a good listener and an absolutely loving dog...
we feel she has always been part of our family"...

Just a few good reasons to adopt a shelter dog...

Believe it or not, this beautiful boy needed a home and lots of love.  Now his name is Sullivan and all his wishes have come true!

Meet Logan who was found wandering around a Wal-Mart Parking lot all alone with a diaper in his mouth ... this is the instant he met his new mother and we think this picture speaks for itself!

Meet Layla ... she was an abandoned dog in TN with no hope until Celina at the SPCA rescued her and we found her a wonderful forever home here in New England!!!!

Meet Dakota - formerly known as Pinto in TN.  Dakota was a stray and because there are so many abandoned black dogs in the South he literally had no chance.
Celina from the SPCA of TN rescued him and his forever family fell in love with him at first sight.  "He is just such a joy and appears attached to us already ... we are very, very lucky".  And so is Dakota ... another happy ending for all!

This picture says it all!  Teddy lived his entire life on a chain until he was rescued by the SPCA of TN.  He is now living with his forever family and as you can see ... loving every minute!

Miss Bella is a recent rescue dog.  She was due to be euthanized in two days; her owner turned her into a high kill shelter because she was too big.  We sent out a plea and found her a wonderful forever home in Rhode Island, where she can run and play on two acres of land with a new Great Pyrenees brother.  She is out of the shelter and can now live a good life.

Meet Zoey (on left).  Zoey spent her entire life in a cage as a puppy mill dog in TN.  She is now living with her new brother, Max, in Maryland.  Zoey is experiencing a home for the very first time and is surrounded by love.  She deserves it!

This "Black Beauty" was wandering in TN all alone.  She is literally the "perfect dog" ... housebroken, sweet, lovely manners and now lives in New England with a family that will love her forever.  Another happy ending!

Teddy (aka Romeo) had spent his entire life chained outside ... these pictures will explain why we are so involved in finding forever homes for these wonderful and grateful dogs.

Here are "Magic" and "Marley" sleeping peacefully together in TN as they await transport to their forever homes.  Both puppies were due to be euthanized right before Christmas ... and are now living happily ever after.

This picture illustrates the reason why we work so hard to save these little ones!

Here's Sassy ... who was a day away from being euthanized in Tennessee; and now she's running a golf course in Rhode Island!

Midnight Blue was a tiny rescue through the SPCA of Tennessee.  He was found wandering the streets at approximately 6 weeks old and 4.5 pounds.  He was about to be euthanized when the SPCA of TN stepped in and arranged for him to be transported to an absolutely wonderful home in Marblehead.  He is now happy, healthy, 90 pounds and counting!

Bolt, formerly known as Patch, was abandoned on a rural road with her sister, Molly.  Now the two "girls" are living wonderful lives in Massachusetts in their forever homes.

Here's a photo of Star ... now known as Rosie ... living the good life with her new family.

Trouble, Kendra and Sheila have so far rescued these wonderful dogs (and many more) through the SPCA of Tennessee:

Sassy, a sweet full blooded Australian Shepherd was brought to a high kill shelter in TN by her owner, a farmer who no longer had any use for her.  She is now the "queen" of a golf course in RI and is loving life.

Gretsky is a Flat Coat Retriever who was abandoned and had anxiety issues.  He is now living by the ocean here in Marblehead with his new family...calm and very happy.

Chase is a ten week old Labrador Retriever pup who was found alone in a ditch.  He was transported to Marblehead and now lives with his new best friends...a wonderful family of four.

Star is a highly intelligent Golden/Labrador Retriever mix who was about to be put to sleep the following day.  We had her shipped up to Marblehead even though we didn't have a home for her.  She spent the holidays with us and now lives very happily in her forever home.

Our work with the SPCA of TN has allowed us to save the lives of these fabulous dogs...but there are so very many that need help.  Please take a moment to check out the available pups at www.spcatn.org ... and if you would like any more information please feel free to give us a call.
